Cloud Public Welfare
Let Every Precious Life Be Seen
Launched in 2011 by Bloomage Biotech Chairperson Zhao Yan, the Cloud Public Welfare program has operated for 14 years. The program has reached more than 60 cities across over ten provinces, with total travel exceeding 160,000 kilometers.
From snow-capped plateaus to Yangtze River water towns, from remote desert borderlands to central China's heartland, our team visits ethnic communities to document and preserve endangered cultural heritage. To date, we have supported nearly 400 intangible cultural heritage (ICH) practitioners from 41 ethnic groups in performances on domestic and international stages, reviving ancient folk songs, dances, musical instruments, and traditional crafts for contemporary audiences.
Through art exhibitions, themed concerts, interactive experiences, short videos, and other diverse formats, we help ethnic cultures move beyond museums and memory into everyday life. In 2023, Cloud Public Welfare was recognized as an outstanding case at the UN Sustainable Development Goals Summit and selected for best ESG practices by the China Listed Companies Association, becoming a model for ethnic cultural preservation.
The program reflects deep respect for traditional culture while driving rural development and fostering ethnic and cultural confidence through integrated cultural and economic initiatives. Over 14 years, Cloud Public Welfare has evolved into a sustained cultural initiative.
