(1) Fair and Standardized Employment

The Company adheres to the principle of lawful and equal employment, standardizes employee recruitment and onboarding procedures, continuously improves employment management systems, and clarifies codes of ethical conduct, so as to fully respect and protect human rights and safeguard labor rights and interests. We treat employees fairly and impartially regardless of race, skin color, ethnicity, gender, age, religious belief and cultural background. We strictly prohibit any form of child labor, and forbid forced labor or restriction of personal freedom through violence, threats or illegal means. The Company prohibits corporal punishment, intimidation, harassment, abuse and any form of discrimination against employees.
The Company bans the use of child labor. We have formulated and implemented working management procedures on child labor prohibition and juvenile worker protection, conduct identity and background verification for all employees, and roll out a series of measures to ensure effective management.
The Company prohibits all forms of forced labor and abusive practices, including but not limited to sexual coercion, sexual assault, threats, body searches, abuse, humiliation, exploitation or harassment. We have formulated corresponding management systems to inform employees of their rights and interests and set clear requirements for management personnel. The Company has established complaint channels, with designated departments responsible for investigation, to supervise and improve the quality of management.

In May 2024, the Company officially became a signatory member of the United Nations Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs). Bloomage Biotech always prioritizes employees' occupational health and safety. We strictly abide by laws and regulations including the Work Safety Law of the People's Republic of China and the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, and have established a sound work safety and occupational health management system to create a safe and healthy working environment for all employees. Our production bases in Jinan, Tianjin and Dongying have all obtained ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certification, with regular internal and external audits covering all production bases.
 
The Company attaches great importance to the standardization of work safety. We have set up a Work Safety Committee and built a top-down organizational structure to coordinate, guide and implement work safety across all subsidiaries and branches. Each year, the Company formulates clear occupational health and safety objectives, which are decomposed level by level to all subsidiaries, departments, workshops, teams and individual employees. Through sound institutional norms, safety management system development, safety culture cultivation and performance assessment, we guarantee the fulfillment of work safety objectives in all aspects.
 
The Company implements a dual prevention mechanism of hierarchical risk control and hidden danger investigation and rectification. We carry out regular safety education and training, continuously advance the digitalization of production operations, and realize standardized closed-loop management of the entire process through internal and external audits. For hazardous chemical management, the Company strictly follows relevant regulations, clarifies the responsibilities of each department, establishes a hazardous chemical inventory, formulates and conducts regular drills, and standardizes the whole-process management of hazardous chemical procurement, storage, transportation, use and disposal.
 
In terms of safety culture development, the Company continuously strengthens employee training and drills, sets up safety culture demonstration workshops, releases safety knowledge content, organizes knowledge contests, and encourages employees to put forward rationalization proposals and participate in the company's safety development. Meanwhile, we pay attention to the risk of repetitive strain injury caused by daily operations, and effectively prevent and reduce occupational health hazards by optimizing the working environment and operation methods.
